The following are priorities:

2023 Solid precipitation

Check the BOM. If we do work it would mostly be along the cycleway, at the Big Blackberry near Steve's Beach, at McKellar Glade & along Woodlands Ck.

2022 War declaration

A declaration of war on Privet & Blackberry.

We have some fallen timber cutting up to continue with, Blackberry is "a hardy perennial" & there is an outbreak of Turkey Rhubarb just begging for attention. 

Asparagus Fern fans can play along the creek edge and out in the Blady Grass. 

Cottonbush flowers are inviting removal.

We'll order some plants this week in expectation of some rain coming so there will be some planting to be done next Monday

Festival of the boot We will plant in various locales while the more Revisionist minded might re-shape Blackberry, Crofton and Lantana at various sites.   One relatively dry site will be among the flowering Cassia along the Stony Road so choppers should be happy. September 4th week

 Likely events As well as the Crofton, Fireweed and Montbretia shooting and flowering, if it rains, even average amount, there will be plenty to do. Turkey Rhubarb will soon flower. 2023 Back to Spring There were a lot of Croftons in flower last week along the Cycleway so it would be good to get them first up. There are also a few small scale weeding jobs waiting, including renewed acquaintance with the Velcro , Asthma & Stonecrop exotics. Choppers and cutters can do some more of each in Manifest Destiny, backed by some painting by a Poisoner. The Ditch may also be close to dry enough for some overhead chopping. Tomorrow is our last 9am start for a while.  Mon Oct 2nd is a Public Holiday, but if you don't get an invite to picnic with your favourite Union, Bushcare will be on from 8.30. April 2nd week

 Deluge results Saturday's early morning deluge not only flattened half of Manifest Destiny , it washed away our recent plantings. So we plant as many Bleeding Hearts (& others) as is feasible at Manifest Destiny & behind the Blady Grass.   (2023 was Day off for Easter Monday) 2022 Problems Most of us should work west of the cycleway on Andrew's & Lisa's sites if they are accessible. Manifest Destiny has Morning Glory rolling across the floor & up the trees so I'd like to get there too.  We'll leave a "They Went That Way" pair at the Blady Grass area should you be fashionably late.
